It was a great experience to partner with students in Australia and get their design responses to the floods that they had experienced, we at tesseract put together an exhibition with a selection of their work, along with some of the best pieces from our recent open competition “Facing the Floods”. Having topical competitions like this we have now found not only generates useful discussion, but can also give people who have actually been effected a voice. Exciting stuff.
